JAMMU, Nov 15: Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) leaders and activists paid floral tribute to its party president for J&K, Som Raj Majotra here today.
In a condolence meeting held at party office, Satwari here today its leaders and activists paid floral tribute to Late Som Raj Majotra who promoted and spread the mission in his life started by Baba Bhim Rao Ambedkar for the upliftment of drown trodden community, which remained ignored for years together. He gave new direction to the down trodden people and awared them to fight against the atrocities inflicted by the other rich peoples and various organisations.
While addressing the gathering Ex- MP and Coordinator Raja Ram requested the participants to work with dedication and reach to the door steps of the poor masses to aware them about the evil designs of the presents Govt at the Centre and State who are exploiting the poor people by raising all falls propaganda and misleading the public about the policies introduced but never implemented on grounds. The poor people are ignored from the benefit of the policies.
While paying tribute to Majotra, party general secretary Rajesh Gupta said that he was leader of masses and very popular among the people of Kathua. Gupta assured that we will leave no stone unturned to bring BSP to new heights.
Other prominent speakers included vice president Charanjeet Chargotra, State general secretary Shashi Bhushan Thappa, Coordinator Badri Nath and Coordinator Gurbaksh Gourav.
