JAMMU, July 14: Bahujan Samaj Party organized a party review meeting in Hiranagar Assembly Constituency on Monday in which detailed discussions were held regarding strengthening the party.
During the meeting, organized under the chairmanship of BSP District president Kathua Raman Kumar, party central coordinator Dharmveer Singh Ashok, Daya Chand and state president Darshan Rana were mainly present besides zone in-charge Sunil Majotra and Banarasi Das along with a large number of party workers.
Addressing the meeting, BSP central coordinator Dharm Singh Ashok and Daya Chand said that to strengthen BSP in Jammu and Kashmir, the party is organizing review meetings in every Assembly constituency. As a part of this exercise, today’s meeting is being organized in Hiranagar Assembly constituency.
He appealed to the party workers to play an important role in strengthening the party so that the party can participate strongly in all the upcoming elections in Jammu and Kashmir. He said that in the review meetings going on for the last few days, a lot of enthusiasm is being seen among the party workers and more and more people are joining the party.
BSP JKUT president Darshan Rana offered full support to the temporary employees working in all the Government departments in Jammu and Kashmir as well as farmers and labourers and demanded that the employees who have been giving their services temporarily for a long time should be made permanent.
Rana said that the temporary employees appointed in the PDD, Jal Shakti and other departments have been on the streets for a long time with their demands but their demands are being ignored by the Government. He said that the Bahujan Samaj Party stands with the people of all these classes and is continuously fighting for their rights. During the meeting, the party’s district president Raman Kumar as well as others also expressed their views.
