JAMMU, June 6: A delegation of Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) visited Rajouri and Poonch districts and met the families affected by Pakistani shelling and assured them that the BSP stands with the borders area people.
The BSP delegation included BSP vice president Charanjit Chargotra, general secretary Raja Singh and Dr Shak Mohd and other party leaders. During their two-day visit, the party leaders visited Rajouri and Poonch districts and met the families affected by Pakistani shelling and assured them that the BSP always stands with the people and continuous efforts will be made to solve their problems.
“Let us tell you that during Operation Sindoor, many people died and many were seriously injured due to Pakistani shelling. Apart from this, people’s houses were also damaged in this shelling, and to take stock of this the BSP team reached these districts.
On this occasion, BSP state vice president Charanjit Chargotra and general secretary Raja Singh said that on the instructions of party J&K president Darshan Rana, the party delegation has reached these districts and met the families affected due to Pakistani shelling.
They demanded that every possible help should be provided to the affected families. Along with this, they welcomed the Government’s decision to give Government jobs to the members of the affected families.
They also demanded that senior administrative officer, Dr Raj Kumar Thapa, who was killed in Pakistani shelling, should be given the status of martyr and he should be honored with the highest award and a square should be named after him in district Rajouri.
They said that Dr Raj Kumar Thapa, apart from being a senior officer, was also known as a social worker who always worked for the betterment of the society.
