BSNL pensioners list demands

JAMMU, June 28: A delegation of J&K BSNL and Department of Telecom, Pensioners Association, led by H R Gupta, vice president BSNL & DOT Pensioners Association (India) today called on Sardar Labh Singh, new CGMT BSNL J&K Telecom circle, Jammu.
The delegation handed over a BSNL & DOT Pensioners directory 2015 containing all the important information, tariffs and various charging plans for land line and mobile services to the CGMT.
The delegation handed over a handout to the CGMT assisted by his GM (Admn.) Arun Garg and S K Khullar GM (CFA).
The delegation apprised the CGMT about their demands and the grievances of the Association of the pensioners, who are senior citizens. The Association demanded that the Tariff Plans for their residential landline telephones which were arbitrary changed in the last year be rolled back, their medical reimbursement claims for chronic ailments like cancer, kidney failure etc be settled within one month of submission, their PPO’s, pensionary benefits, leave encashment, final payment of GPF, sanction for the concessional residential telephone facility, medical identity card and pensioners identity cards be issued on the last working day of their retirement or on the day of the farewell of the retiree as per the policy farmed by the Government of India.
According to the handout issued by the Association, the CGMT accepted all the demands which were neglected from the last one year and issued on-spot instructions to his able and effective officers for positive consideration.
