JAMMU, July 4: Demanding wage revision, J&K Circle of National Federation of Telecom Employees (BSNL) observed 48- hours relay fast dharna on Monday and Tuesday.
On the occasion, leader of the union spoke on demand of wage revision, which is due from January 1, 2017. They stressed that the Government should issue necessary orders for early implementation of 3rd PRC recommendations to BSNL employees, without any further delay.
Call for this second phase of agitational programme was given by National forum of BSNL Union and Association, New Delhi.
National forum of BSNL Unions and Associations is demanding that BSNL be allowed to implement the 3rd PRC recommendations to its employees without any restrictions for which BSNL management has already recommended to the Secretary Department of Telecom, Government of India that the expenditure on account of 3rd PRC recommendations can be met from the own resources of BSNL.
