JAMMU, Feb 22: A Border Security Force (BSF) jawan was injured when a landmine went off along the International Border in Samba district today.
Head Constable Ujhan Bara, who along with others was on patrol duty along the IB near the Regal border outpost (BOP), was injured in the blast, reports said.
The injured BSF personnel has been admitted to Government Medical College (GMC) Hospital, Jammu.
Meanwhile, after a long lull, Pakistan today fired three rounds at forward Border Outposts in Samba.
“Three rounds of small arms were fired from Pakistan side this morning, targeting forward Border Outposts in Samba Sector,” sources said.
They said that no injury was reported.
However, senior BSF officials remained tight-lipped over the incident.
