JAMMU, July 8: The Border Security Force (BSF) foiled an infiltration attempt along the International Border (IB) in Arnia sector in wee hours of this morning.
Reports said the BSF jawans spotted movement in forward area of Chowani in Arnia sector at 4 am today and fired few rounds to neutralize any movement of the militants.
With the onset of dawn, the BSF conducted searches in the area. However, there were no traces of militants on this side.
Reports said the militants managed to escape back to Pakistan finding the BSF jawans very alert on the International Border.
This was first infiltration attempts along the IB this month though intrusion bids by the militants were being reported frequently on the Line of Control (LoC) in Poonch district.
