JAMMU, May 27: A BSF Constable died during the intervening night of May 26 and 27 after he was found unconscious condition in a bus, here at Bus Stand.
According to a police spokesman, the jawan identified as Mohd Ayoub Malik son of Abdul Rahim Malik, resident of Village Neel, Banihal in Udhampur district, was on its way to home from Jalandhar in a bus when his condition deteriorated suddenly at Jammu Bus Stand.
He said the BSF jawan was immediately rushed to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, where he was declared as brought dead by the doctors.
“After completing all medico-legal formalities the body of the jawan was handed over to his legal heirs for last rites”, he said, adding a case in this connection was registered at police station Bus Stand and proceedings initiated under Section 174 CrPC.
