JAMMU, Sept 2: In a humanitarian initiative to support flood-hit people, the Border Security Force (BSF) organised medical camps in Rajouri and Jammu districts to assist residents affected by recent heavy rains and flooding.
In Rajouri, the camp was organized at Lower Achhad, near Achhad Bridge, extending medical assistance to the needy residents of Achhad and adjoining villages located close to Achhad Nala.
Senior citizens, women and children received first aid, essential treatment and free medicines to address immediate healthcare requirements.
Similarly, another camp was organized at Phallain Mandal, one of the worst flood-affected areas of Jammu district.
BSF doctors carried out medical check-ups and distributed medicines to residents of nearby border villages severely impacted by the floods.
These initiatives highlight BSF’s commitment to humanitarian assistance during natural disasters and reaffirm its role as a dependable support system for border communities in times of crisis.
The BSF remains actively engaged in ongoing rescue and relief operations across Jammu and Kashmir to ensure timely medical and humanitarian aid reaches the affected population.
