JAMMU, Apr 5: To discuss and finalize the arrangements for Shobha Yatra on the birth anniversary of Bhagwan Parshuram ji on April 17, a meeting of prominent persons of Jammu city was convened by Dogra Brahman Pratinidhi Sabha, Prade Jammu, under the chairmanship of Ved Prakash Sharma, President of the Sabha.
A large number of prominent persons of Jammu, including presidents of various Bazar Committees participated in the meeting, wherein Ved Prakash Sharma gave details of functions being held in connection with Parshuram Jayanti. He appealed the Bazar presidents to extend their cooperation to make the function a great success.
Among others, who spoke on the occasion, included Rajinder Sharma and Purnima Sharma, former Mayor and Deputy Mayor of JMC, respectively; Narayan Singh, Chairman, Shri Amar Kshatriya Rajput Sabha, J&K; Anil Masoom, Sanjay Baru, Surinder Choudhar (former corporators JMC); Neeraj Anand, Convenor, All Jammu Civil Society Forum and President, Chamber of Traders Federation; Zorawar Singh Jamwal, Chairman, Team Jammu and Vice President Press Club Jammu; Gurdas Sharma, Trustee and General Secretary, Jammu Yatri Bhawan; Sunil Sharma, Barita Ram Sharma, Chander Mohan Sharma, Parshotam Sharma, M L Padha and others.
