UDHAMPUR, Mar 3: The body of a young boy was found hanging from the ceiling fan hook of a room at his residence at village Mand near Udhampur today.
According to the police Ajay Kumar (24), son of Sham Lal Goswami, resident of Mand East near Tikri, was found hanging with a ceiling fan hook in his house under mysterious circumstances.
Family members who saw him hanging immediately called the Rehambal Police Station and SHO Nishat Sumbria rushed to the spot with the police force and took the dead body in their custody and shifted it to the District Hospital, Udhampur.
The body was sent for the postmortem and after completion of all the formalities and it was handed over to the family members. The actual cause of death was being ascertained by police.
