POONCH, May 18: A 14-years-old boy drowned in a Nallah at Bandi Kama Khan village in Tehsil Mandi of district Poonch.
Official sources said that the boy identified as Imtiaz Ahmed (14), son of Khalil Ahmed went from home last evening after which he din’t return back. The family members and locals launched search operation and his dead body was today found in Nallah.
The police also reached the spot and body was handed over to family after legal formalities.
Meanwhile, ACR Poonch Mohd Syeed along with Tehsildar Mandi, Ashfaq Hussain went to the house of deceased boy and provides Rs 20,000 finacial assistance to the family on the directions of Deputy Commissioner, Poonch.
