SRINAGAR, July 1: A 14-year-old boy drowned in Jhelum River while bathing in the Juhama area of Baramulla district in North Kashmir today.
The tragic incident occurred when the boy reportedly slipped into deep waters during a bath. A joint rescue operation involving the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF), Baramulla Police and local residents was immediately launched. However, the body could not be traced till the last reports came in.
