POONCH, Nov. 29: A scare was created in Chajjla area of Mendhar after a suspicious box was found abandoned near the road today.
During physical examination of the box by police, it was found that box contained some firecrackers.
However, an FIR No. 223/2024 has been registered under the relevant sections of the law for acts of mischief at Mendhar Police Station.
Investigation is underway to identify the culprit who tried to create panic in the area.
All efforts are being made to unearth this mischievous act and anti- social elements behind this act.
The police also urged residents to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities or objects to the nearest authorities.
