Bovines smuggling bids foiled; 52 cattle rescued, 4 vehicles seized

JAMMU, Dec 18: Nagrota and Manwal Police foiled bovines smuggling bids by rescuing 52 cattle and seizing four vehicles.
As per police sources, on specific information, teams from Police Station Nagrota and Police Post Manwal laid nakas in their respective jurisdictions and intercepted Four vehicles bearing registration numbers JK02CQ-1123, JK02V-3887, JK02AP-7318 and JK02BU-4542.
During checking, police team rescued 52 bovine animals and seized all the four vehicles.
Cases under relevant Sections were registered at Police Stations Nagrota and Jhajjar Kotli and investigation started.
Police teams led by SHO Nagrota Inspector Vishav Pratap Singh and Incharge Police Post Manwal PSI Ayub Khan foiled the bovines smuggling bids under the supervision of SDPO Nagrota Parupkar Singh and SP Rural Sanjay Sharma.
