NOWSHERA, Jan 10: The police foiled a bovine smuggling attempt in Lam area of Nowshera and rescued three cattle.
Official sources said that a police team under the supervision of SHO Nowshera, Inspector Arjun Mangotra, and led by PSI Fahad Hussain, on a credible information, intercepted a Tata Mobile vehicle bearing registration number JK11C 9644, which was found to be illegally transporting three bovines.
The driver managed to flee the scene, evading arrest. A case has been registered under FIR No. 7/2025 at Police Station Nowshera, and efforts are underway to apprehend the absconding driver.
