RAMBAN, Sept 21: Sangaldhan police foiled bovines smuggling bid by rescuing 5 cattle and arresting a driver.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Sangaldhan Police Post laid a naka and intercepted a vehicle bearing registration number JK19-7030.
During checking, police team rescued 5 bovine animals from the vehicle and arrested the driver, who was identified as Muzaffer Ahmed, son of Mohammad Aslam Zarger of Duksar Gool.
A case under FIR Number 60/2020 under sections 188 IPC and 11 PCA Act has been registered at Police Station Gool and investigation started.
Police team led by Incharge Sangaldhan Police Post SI Sameer Ahmed made the arrest under the supervision of SHO Gool Inspector Muneer Ahmed, SDPO Gool Pradeep Kumar, Additional SP Ramban Sanjay Parihar and SSP Ramban Haseeb ur Rehman.
