SAMBA, Jan 20: Ghagwal Police foiled bovines smuggling bid.
As per police sources, a team from Police Station Ghagwal laid a naka and intercepted a Mahindra load carrier bearing registration number JK08E-3348.
During checking, police team rescued four bovine animals and seized the vehicle, while the driver managed to escape from the spot by taking benefit of the darkness.
A case under FIR Number 6/2022 under Sections 188 IPC and 11 PCA Act has been registered at Police Station Ghagwal and investigation started.
