RAJOURI, Nov 27: Police foiled a bovine smuggling bid in Rajouri area rescuing six cattle from the clutches of smugglers.
During Naka at Kali Dabh link road in Rajouri, police team led by SHO Rajouri Abid Bukhari intercepted one Tata mobile vehicle, bearing registration number JK11A-4408.
The said vehicle was carrying six bovine animals in it. The cattle were rescued.
On seeing police party the driver of the vehicle fled from the spot.
A case in relevant sections of law has been registered in Police Station Rajouri.
