RAJOURI, June 20: Police foiled an attempt of bovine smuggling in Nowshera and rescued eight bovines besides arresting the alleged smuggler.
Reports said that Nowshera Police intercepted a Tata Mobile vehicle bearing registration number JK11F-3943 at a special naka point at Thalka NHW, Nowshera.
During checking, eight bovine animals were found loaded in the vehicle in a very cruel manner. Police rescued all the animals and arrested driver of the vehicle.
In this regard, a case FIR under relevant sections of law has been registered at Police Station Nowshera.
