DODA, Jan 6: Five persons were injured here today after a mini-bus they were onboard was hit by a boulder near Kalotha area.
Sources informed that the ill fated passenger vehicle bearing registration number JK06A-9890 was hit by a boulder near Kalotha leaving the five persons onboard injured. The injured were shifted to Government Medical College (GMC) Doda for treatment and their condition was stated out of danger till last reports.
The injured were identified as Shamima Begum, 45, wife of Mohd Ayoub, resident of Bari Marmat, Tehsil Marmat, District Doda; Barkatullah, 28, son of Kamar Din, resident of Bari Marmat, Tehsil Marmat, District Doda; Burhan Ahmed, 16, son of Zainul Abdin, resident of Upper Biota; Abdul Rouf, 36, son of Mohd Hablal, resident of Marmat and Ajay Kumar, 25, son of Dev Raj, resident of Barri Marmat, Tehsil Goha Marmat, District Doda. Police has taken cognisance of the incident.
