JAMMU, June 23: On the assurance of Joint Secretary Secrecy, J&K Board of School Education, the evaluators of Secondary School Examinations have announced to suspend their strike.
These evaluators, under the banner of Secondary School Examination Evaluators Co-ordination Committee (Jammu), were boycotting the evaluation work for the last two days in support of their demands, which include enhancement of evaluation remuneration rates to Rs 15 per answer copy, enhancement of DA per day and checking assistance, cooling/heating system in evaluation centres, timely payment of remunerations, etc.
The agreement reached out between the BOSE authorities, headed by Joint Secretary Rampal Bal and the evaluators co-ordination committee members, including Shanti Saroop Sharma, Mohan Singh, Subash Sharma and others.
The Joint Secretary assured that all demands would be conceded within 15 days, said a press release by the Co-ordination committee.
