Border dispute figures in Lok Sabha

NEW DELHI :  The issue of discrepancies in a map  reportedly released in China showing Pakistan-occupied
Kashmir(PoK) as the territory of Pakistan and disputing India-China border, today figured in the Lok Sabha.
Raising the issue during Zero Hour, BJP member S S Ahluwalia  quoted a Chinese report over the release of the map and said while PoK has been shown as part of Pakistan, the Khunjerab pass in the Gilgit-Baltistan area has been shown as international Indo-Chinese border which actually is the line of control(LOC).
He said China has assured that the border dispute between India and Pakistan would not have bearing on India-China relations and thus, the government should summon the Chinese envoy to lodge its protest and raise demand of immediate withdrawal of the said map.
