BARI BRAHMANA, Jan 1: Police here today claimed that they have arrested an alleged bootlegger with 31 bottles of illicit liquor and Rs 1.18 lakh in cash.
Acting on specific information regarding the sale of illicit liquor at Labour Chowk, near Teli Basti, Bari Brahmana area, the suspected shop was raided, and the accused, identified as Vinod Kumar of Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh, was arrested with the illicit liquor and cash, a police official said.
Accordingly, he was booked in case FIR number 01/2026 under section 48(f) of the Excise Act registered at Police Station Bari Brahamana and further investigation taken up, he added.
