SAMBA, June 2: An alleged bootlegger was arrested with 595 bottles of illicit liquor in Ramgarh area of Samba district today.
Kala Ram of Rara, tehsil Ramgarh, district Samba, was arrested with 595 bottles of JK Special Whisky of 180 ml each by a party of police station Ramgarh while selling the illicit liquor in Rara area, a police official said.
Accordingly, the police official said that the accused has been booked in case FIR number 38/2025 under Section 48(f) of the Excise Act registered at Police Station Ramgarh and further investigation taken up.
