KATRA, Feb 4: Foiling an attempt of liquor smuggling to the holy town, Police today arrested a bootlegger from Nomain area and recovered 94 pouches of illicit liquor from his possession.
Police during naka at Nomain Check Post, apprehended the accused, namely Sandeep Singh of Dera Pabber in Reasi and recovered 94 pouches measuring 250/250ml each of J&K Excise liquor from his possession. The accused person was going to Katra for the sale of illicit liquor.
A case in this regard has been register at Police Station Katra.
