JAMMU, Jan 15: The book ‘Bilawar Ke Pramukh Dharmik Sthal’ by Pandit Tript Shastri, chairman Shri Malla Mata Sukarala Devi Trust was released here today.
On this occasion, Garib Das, ADGP, Director Police Academy Udhampur and Satish Sharma, MLA Bilawar were chief guests while Shiv Kumar Sharma, DIG Jammu-Samba-Kathua Range and Raj Kumar Gupta, president J&K Gau Raksha Samiti were special guests and Dr. Bhupendra Shastri was guest of honour.
The programme started with recitation of Vedic mantras and lighting of ceremonial lamp.
Pandit Tript Shastri presented details about the book.
The chief guest, Garib Das, ADGP, praised the book and the author and said that the book ‘Bilawar Ke Pramukh Dharmik Sthal’ will remove many misconceptions.
Satish Sharma, MLA Bilawar said that being a resident of Billawar and an MLA, he feel good because the work which was not done till date has been done now by Pandit Tript Shastri with his hard efforts.
Shiv Kumar Sharma and Raj Kumar Gupta also emphasized that today’s generation should be aware of their religion and should do such works which will create awareness about religion and remove superstitions.
Bhupendra Shastri called the book as a milestone for the society especially for increasing the faith and knowledge of devotees.
Coordinator of the programme, Prof. Sanjeev Upadhyay presented vote of thanks.
Trust members Keshav Chopra, Jatin Langar, Vimal Mehra, Dinesh Upadhyay, Munish Sharma and others were also present on the occasion.
