Bomb hurled on stone crusher site, alleges owner; seeks action

JAMMU, Apr 22: The owner of New Jai Rajputana Stone Crusher located in district Kathua alleged that some unknown persons on April 15 night threw an explosive substance like bomb on the crusher site, creating huge loss of expensive machinery costing about Rs 1.5 lakh.
Addressing a press conference, Raguvir Thakur, son of Chain singh, is permanent resident of Ward number 3, Katra and also owner of M/s New Jai Rajputana Stone Crusher situated at village Taraf Tajwal in tehsil and district Kathua, said, “On April 15 at about 9:30 PM when all the workers and other staff of the crusher was engaged in routine work, three unknown persons came on scooty and throw an explosive substance like bomb in the workplace of the New Jai Rajputana Stone Crusher”.
He added that with the blast of that explosive substance there is huge destruction in the building of the firm and also huge loss of some expensive machinery which costs about Rs 1.5 lakh. “The whole incident is also recorded in CCTV camera installed at the site and we can provide the CCTV footage of the same to the authorities for the evidence,” he said, adding, this will certainly help in identifying the accused.
Thakur appealed the Government to provide protection to them till the miscreants are arrested by the police. He also requested SHO Kathua to lodge FIR and take action against the accused person.
