UDHAMPUR, Nov 22: Panic gripped Udhampur town after an abandoned briefcase was found near army area which locals took as some bomb.
SSP Udhampur, Rayees Mohammed Bhat said that cops found a briefcase at near Chani Morh, Army area on Dhar Road.
After police team with sniffer dogs checked the briefcase they found some documents and a cheque-book in it which was left by someone inadvertently.
