JAMMU, June 13: An unidentified male body was recovered today from Ranbir canal in Gadigarh area of city outskirts.
According to a police spokesman, the body of an unidentified youth aged about 25-26 years and wearing a black T-shirt and black jeans was spotted by some locals in Ranbir canal at Tharap area of Gadigarh.
On getting information from locals, a police team reached the spot, evicted the body from canal and shifted it to mortuary room of Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for identification and post mortem.
A case in this connection was registered at concerned police station and further investigations were on.
