RAJOURI, Dec 8: The dead body of a young man was found under suspicious circumstances near Anas River, under the jurisdiction of the Kotranka Police Station today.
According to a police spokesman, some people informed the Police Station Kotranka that the body of a young man was lying at the banks of Anas river near the town. The police immediately reached the spot, took the body into custody, and shifted it to the Government hospital at Kotranka.
After about two hours, the deceased was identified as Mohammad Talib, a resident of Mohra Radani. After conducting a post-mortem examination and completing other legal formalities, the police handed over the body to the family members and registered a case of death under suspicious circumstances, initiating an investigation. The reasons behind the death has not yet been ascertained.
