RAJOURI, Aug 5: The body of a person who went missing after being washed away in Rajouri river on Monday was traced today.
The body was recovered by the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) men and handed over to the family after completion of necessary formalities. The deceased has been identified as Parmod Kumar, hailing from Barkaria in UP.
The operation was carried out under the supervision of DySP Jabeen Akhter Deputy Controller Civil Defense Rajouri who along with her SDRF team worked relentlessly and displayed utmost dedication in the search efforts.
It is pertinent to mention here that three migrant workers hailing from UP were trapped in the flash flood in Rajouri river yesterday. Two of them were rescued while third washed away in strong currents.
