JAMMU, Apr 22: The body of a young man with a bullet injury was found inside a municipal park in Digiana, here today.
As per police sources, 18-year-old Suryansh Choudhary son of Balwant Choudhary, a resident of Rani Talab (Digiana, Jammu) was missing for the last couple of days.
“His body with bullet mark on the right side of his head was found this morning from a park in Digiana. A pistol was recovered lying near his body,” sources said, adding the pistol was licensed weapon of his father.
Police sources further stated that it appears to be suicide in preliminary investigation but for clarity thorough probe has been initiated by Gandhi Nagar Police.
“After conducting postmortem at Government Medical College and Hospital Jammu, the body of the deceased was handed over to his legal heirs for last rites,” sources added.
