MENDHAR, Dec 26: The body of a man was found under mysterious circumstances near a Nallah (rivulet) in Mendhar today.
The deceased has been identified as Mohammad Javed, a resident of Mankote. Locals spotted the body in the Nallah and immediately informed the police.
A police team reached the location, took the body in its custody and shifted it to Sub-District Hospital (SDH), Mendhar for performing legal formalities.
The police have initiated an investigation to determine the cause of death. An official stated that it is still unclear whether the incident was accidental, a case of suicide, or something else.
