JAMMU, Nov 19: A 45-year-old individual’s body was found hanging from a tree at Biaspur Village of Arnia Tehsil today.
Driver by profession, Balvir Kumar, son of Karan Chand of Biaspur, Arnia, was spotted hanging from a tree near his village by some passerby, who informed the police, a police official said.
Accordingly, he said, a team from Police Station Arnia, shifted him to a hospital, where doctors declared him dead on arrival.
Police have handed over the body to its legal heirs after performing the medico-legal formalities. Meanwhile, inquest proceedings have also been initiated to further probe into the matter.
