POONCH, July 18: The dead bodies of two minor boys were recovered from the river near Poonch today.
Reports said that 13-year-old Khadam Hussain, son of Nazakat Hussain, resident of Darungli was washed away in flash flood in Darungli Nalla this morning. The mishap took place when he was crossing Nallah and was trapped in flash flood and washed away. After long search of about four hours by police and locals, the body of the boy was recovered from Poonch river.
Meanwhile, during search, the police also recovered the dead body of 7-year-old Yasir, son of Nazir Ahmed, resident of Batalkote (Mandi), who had drowned in Loran Nallah on July 13. The family and police was searching for his body since then. His body had been washed away down into the river. The police after conducting legal formalities handed over the dead bodies to their families.
