JAMMU, Feb 2: Jammu and Kashmir Police has constituted a board to examine the physical standards, educational qualifications and other required parameters for the conversion of 187 followers of Executive and Armed Police as constables.
As per an order issued by Police Headquarters Jammu on January 30, 2026, the board will be headed by DIG IR Kashmir Sheikh Junaid Mehmood as Chairman, with the Commandant of 1st Women Battalion, the SP APCR Jammu, the DSP of 13 JKAP Battalion and the DSP of 4 JKAP Security Battalion as members.
