JAMMU, Jan 31: Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh (BMS) deputation led by Harbans Choudhary met Regional Director, Employees State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) and highlighted problems.
While speaking, Harbans Choudhary said that despite many representation since 2001, no survey has been conducted from Sarore to Chichi Mata ji Temple and Narwal bye pass to top Sidhra, where thousands of workers are working in different industries and commercial establishments and are not entitled in ESI.
Due to non-implementation of the ESI scheme in these areas, the poor workers are deprived of their rights.
Regional Director gave a patient hearing to the demand and assured early redressal.
Among others present were Yog Raj Singh, Shamsher Chand, Ram Lal, Radhey Shayam, Shiv Dev Singh and Jagdish Raj.
