BMS celebrates 70th Foundation Day

KISHTWAR, July 23: On 70th Foundation Day of Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh (BMS), a grand programme was organized by State BMS with motto of welfare of the working class.
The main event in this regard was organized at Government Degree College Kishtwar by Kissan Mazdoor Union in which senior BJP leader and MLA, Sunil Sharma was chief guest and Chanan Singh Toor, senior BMS leader presided over.
Speaking on the occasion, Ashok Choudhary, Sangathan Mantri of State BMS highlighted that foundation of BMS was laid by Datto Pant Thengadi with a mission of nation first and today BMS has presence in every nook and corner of the country with a membership of more than two cores.
A handout stated that today BMS organized national level mega programme at Indira Gandhi Stadium, New Delhi where RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat was chief guest.
Chanan Singh Toor also spoke on the occasion.
Sunil Sharma while addressing the gathering said: “It was for the first time that in Kishtwar district five hydro power projects are coming up providing employment to more than 10 thousands workers.”
Similar celebrations were also held at State BMS office Jammu in which Harbans Choudhary, senior leader, Chuni Lal Verma, convener Paryavarn Manch, Romesh Lal Malhotra, Rajinder Sharma and Bua Ditta paid homage to BMS founder Dato Pant Thengdi.
Similar programmes were also organized by ASCOM Hospital Employees Association, CTM Kathua, Bhawan Nirman Mazdoor Sangh Reasi, PHE Daily Wagers Union and others.
