JAMMU, July 2:  To promote the Traditional Culture of J&K and observe the Anti Dengue Month, 2016,  Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan (BLSKS) in coordination with ESRM  presented its 109th Hindi musical play “Machherdani” on the theme of “Health care” at open air theatre Durga Bhawan,  Janipur, to draw attention of the masses living with  vector  borne  diseases.
The program was inaugurated by chief guest V K Magotra, former Regional Director of Directorate of Field Publicity, I&B Ministry and former CMO Udhampur, Dr Tara Singh Charak presided over. The day commemorated as “Anti Dengue Month ” as well with sole aim of rejuvenating  the traditional,  primitive  Folk,  Art, Culture of Jammu region in   particular and  Indian nation in general.
Awareness items specially prepared on the themes were presented to aware the masses. The chief guest lauded the efforts of the organizers  in making such awareness  programs colorful, effective and result oriented. The theme wise  contents to promote love and peace   as  advocated by the stalwarts of theatre, National Unity, Communal Harmony, Indian Democracy  Health etc. were the main   highlights of the cultural  Program  presented  by renowned  artists of the namely Miss Usha Handoo, Raju Bajgal, Zulekha Farid,  M C Kotwal, K K Joshi, Hem Raj and Others. During the month BLSKS will present 15 shows in  Udhampur, Ramnagar, Tikri, Marh, Kot Bhalwal, Mansar and Akhnoor blocks to aware the masses.
Earlier welcoming the audience M L Dogra, Chairman, spoke about the causes, symptoms, prevention and cure of Dengue fever.
The singers, musician, actors and students of music and computer institute who performed in the musical play were  Parul Sharma, Renu Saproo, Dhruv Pandit, Rajni Gupta, Bhumika Chib, Neelam Chib, Ritesh Magotra, Payal Sharma, Pooja Gupta, Samarth Gupta,  Deevam Jandiyal, Shan Khan, Shival, Gyansham Yadav, Sunny Manhas, Salman Bhatti, Rakshit Sharma, Darsh Kachroo, Rajveer Sharma,  Nisha Chib, Arnav Chib, Aryan Verma, Surinder Verma, Abhyudaya Sharma, Vandana Gupta, L-Danika,  Ayush Bhat and many others   presented the enthralling performance. Master Deepak Kumar presented vote of thanks for successful conduction of the program.
