BLSKS, Janipur Traders organise ‘anti-drugs’ programme

JAMMU, Aug 23: Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan (BLSKS) in coordination with Janipur Traders Association here today organized a seminar on ‘anti drugs’ and also presented a mega cultural programme on ‘Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan’ while a pledge in this regard was administered to more than 500 people by Shifali Gupta.
The programme was inaugurated by the chief guest Vivek Shekar, SP City North Jammu. Among guests of honour were Satish Bhardwaj, SDPO Bakshi Nagar, Dr. Jiya, Health Department, Vikram Sharma, SHO Janipur and experts from organizations working against drug menace.
Students of Crescent Public School, Indira Public School and Santosh Vidya Mandir School also participated in the event.
Speaking on the occasion, the chief guest said we have come together to strengthen our determination against drug abuse in any form and to send a strong message to the world that India will leave no stone unturned to fight against drug menace.
Artists of BLSKS presented a Nukkad play to aware the gathering on drug menace.
Theme based songs in the play were written by Dr. M.L Dogra and the music was composed by Sanjay Kumar Pashi, M.C Kotwal and assisted by Raju Bajgal, Music Instructor BLSKS.
Welcome address was delivered by Yash Pal Sharma, BPJ leader.
Singers, musician and actors who performed in the programme were Usha Raina, M.C Kotwal, Raju Bajgal, Rajni Gupta, Zulekha Bano, Sanjay Kumar Pashi, Varinder Kumar, K.K Joshi, Sona Jamwal, Anjana Sharma, Parul Sharma, Utam Singh Uttam and Usha Raina.
