JAMMU, Oct 1: The Department of Blood Transfusion Medicines, Government Medical College (GMC) Jammu today organised blood donation camp.
The camp was organised in collaboration with J&K State AIDS Prevention and Control Society (JKSACS) in which blood donors from Rajiv Gandhi College of Nursing, Voluntary organisation ‘Live For Others” donated 36 units of blood.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Sunanda Raina, Principal GMC, Jammu and Dr.Meena Sidhu, HoD Blood Transfusion Medicine GMC, Jammu thanked the voluntary blood donors for their noble contribution towards saving the lives of the needy patients and urged the general public to come forward for this noble cause of voluntary blood donation.
