JAMMU, Dec 10: A blood donation camp was organized by Jammu Institute of Ayurveda and Research (JIAR) in the memory of Late Dr Roop Lal Sharma, founder Chairman of Shri Sain Charitable Trust for Higher Education and Research on his birth anniversary here today.
Around 86 volunteers including teaching and non-teaching staff, students, PG Scholars and internees participated in the camp whole heartedly.
Suman Sharma, chairperson, Shri Sain Charitable Trust on the occasion called upon the masses to come forward voluntarily for this noble cause. She stressed the need to conduct such camps in near future also.
She appreciated the students and the staff members of the Colleges under the Trust for their participation.
Managing Directors Ritesh Sharma and Ravish Sharma, Principal of different Colleges under the Trust, Dr Nitin Mahajan Vice Principal (JIAR), extended gratitude to Dr Rubeena Kausar (BTO) from Medical College Blood Bank Jammu and their staff for their co-operation in organizing the camp.
