JAMMU, Sept 6: A low intensity blast occurred inside the house of two brothers of SSP Koushal Sharma at Maira Chowkian in Rajouri district in early hours of this morning causing extensive damage to 3 cars parked there.

SSP Rajouri Chandan Kohli told the Excelsior that it wasn’t a grenade attack but low intensity blast and splinters have been recovered from the house.
The vehicles parked in the house were damaged, he said, adding that no one was injured.
Investigations from all angles are being conducted into the blast, Kohli said, adding police teams and experts visited the house for on spot verification.
Koushal Sharma is, however, living in Jammu.
Police have taken cognizance of the incident and further investigation is underway to ascertain nature and cause of the explosion.
“It is premature to say anything right now. Things will be clear after investigations,” Kohli said.
