UDHAMPUR, Nov 5: The black-topping work of a road in remote Latti tehsil of Dudu Sub Division was kick-started by the local Sarpanch, Kasturi Lal Gupta in presence of prominent people of the area and officials of R&B Department today.
This, nearly 800 mts road was the old demand of the people of this area. This road connects Gali Mohalla and an important temple of the area with Latti town.
Besides local DDC member, AEE R&B Shamboo Nath, Junior Engineer Mandeep Singh besides contractor Abdul Hafiz Wani were also present on the occasion. The road work from Latti to Gali Mandir was sanctioned under City Town Plan with the cost of Rs 40 lakhs.
Locals of the area extended gratitude to Principal Secretary PWD, Chief Engineer R&B Jammu and Executive Engineer R&B Division, Udhampur for the support.
