JAMMU, June 8: Bhartiya Kala Sangam staged a play in Dogri language ‘Galat Vyakaran’, here today at the Abhinav Theatre.
According to T R Sharma, Chairman Bhartiya Kala Sangam, the play of Kumar A Bharti was designed and directed by Mohit Singh Chib in Saptahik Rangdhara under the overall supervision of Ramesh Singh Chib, Director BKS.
Sharma further said that BKS ever since its inception from 1980 has organised and successfully held various cultural programs to promote and develop the Dogra culture which, inter-alia, include Dogri dances, singing, plays, Nukkad Nataks, seminars, felicitation events etc.
This play is a family drama which unfolds different phases of misunderstandings across three generations. Each generation follows its own way of thinking, which leads them to feel misunderstood by the others, as a result, small conflicts arise within the families. Overall, this family drama intertwined with tales of valour from the warriors of Duggar land.
The eminent actors/artists, who participated in the play and kept the audience spellbound were Janak Khajuria, Pardeep Sharma, Sheetal, Ankit Sharma, Disha Bhagat and Saksham Chib.
