BJYM organizes Namo Yuva Run across J&K to mark PM Modi’s 75th birthday

JAMMU, Sept 21: Thousands of youth owing allegiance to Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM), today participated in Namo Yuva Run organized in different districts of J&K including Jammu and Srinagar under the leadership of BJYM UT chief Arun Prabhat Singh. The marathon was organized under the ongoing Sewa Pakhwada campaign to celebrate the 75th birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Themed on “Nasha Mukt Jammu, Viksit Jammu”, the marathon drew an overwhelming response with thousands of enthusiastic youth participating simultaneously in Jammu, Kathua, Udhampur, and Rajouri districts.
The Jammu leg of the run was flagged off from Bahu Plaza by senior BJP leaders including J&K BJP president, Sat Sharma, MP Jugal Kishore Sharma, MLAs Sham Lal Sharma, Yudhvir Sethi, Vikram Randhawa, Arvind Gupta, Surinder Bhagat, and Rajiv Bhagat, besides senior BJP functionaries vice president and Prabhari BJYM, Rakesh Mahajan, general secretaries, Sanjeeta Dogra, and Baldev Billawaria, and others. The proceedings were anchored by RJ Shwetima and Priyanka Mahajan.
Speaking on the occasion, Sat Sharma lauded the BJYM for mobilizing youth for a noble cause. He said that the Namo Yuva Run is not just a sporting event, it is a clarion call for building a drug-free Jammu and working towards the vision of a developed India by 2047, as envisioned by Prime Minister, Narendra Modi.
In Kashmir, the marathon was organized from Zabarwan Park to Maki Point at Dal Lake, Srinagar, where a large number of youth took part.
Leader of Opposition Sunil Sharma appreciated the BJYM initiative, stating that the youth-driven campaign proves that the future of J&K is in safe hands. “Together, we will defeat the menace of drugs and channelize the energy of our young generation into nation-building”, he said.
Ashok Koul, general secretary (Organization), BJP J&K, also participated in the Srinagar run. He said that the BJYM has shown remarkable commitment by taking this campaign to every corner of the Union Territory. This is the true spirit of Sewa Pakhwada – service, discipline, and dedication towards society.
Expressing gratitude, Arun Prabhat said that the massive participation of youth is a message in itself. “We urge every youngster to become an ambassador of Nasha Mukt Jammu & Kashmir and contribute wholeheartedly to the dream of Viksit Bharat”.
He said the youth has lot of responsibility on its shoulders as they are the future of nation and hence it is their duty to dedicate themselves in nation building and fulfilling the dream of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi of making India a world leader.
