BJYM launches blood, plasma donation camps

JAMMU, Apr 27: BJYM today launched Blood / Plasma Donation Camps at every district of Jammu Kashmir UT.
The camp was inaugurated by Arun Prabhat Singh, president, BJYM Jammu Kashmir in which Yuva Morcha Karyakartas donated blood in good numbers and also registered themselves for Plasma donation under Seva Hi Sangathan Abhiyan.
Arun Prabhat lauded the philanthropic initiatives of the BJYM, saying that the Yuva Morcha is doing the service for the mankind during the past many years by organizing free blood donation camps and other social events.
He appealed the youth to generously donate blood for saving the precious lives. Urging the other social and religious organizations to make collective efforts in bringing reforms in the society, he said that the social evils like dowry, drug addiction, and female feticide are spreading fast, which need to be weeded out to ensure a prosperous and progressive future.
He stressed the need for educating the younger generation about the rich Indian values and culture, so that they remained connected with their roots and contribute for the development of mankind.
Anil Kumar, president, BJYM Jammu, Atul Sharma, Vikas Sharma, Monu Slathia, Parul Mehra, Arjun Suri and many others were among those who donated blood during the camp at Red Cross Society Sarai, Maheshpura, Jammu.
