KATHUA, Nov 9: The first ever meeting of Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) Basohli district was held at Billawar, which was organized by Basohli BJYM district president Vikramaditya Singh and attended by District Working Committee members drawn from Bani, Basohli and Billawar Assembly constituencies.
BJP district president & MLA Jeevan Lal, BJYM State president Dr. Suresh Ajay Magotra, BJYM district president Vikramaditya Singh attended the meet.
Jeevan Lal, while addressing one of the session, highlighted the development works being undertaken by him after being elected as public representative of the Bani Constituency, said that an era of development has started there as the Narendra Modi-led NDA Government at the Centre and BJP coalition in the State have been very liberal in sanctioning new projects and welfare schemes for every part of the State.
Dr. Suresh Ajay Magotra, while speaking on the motive for constitution of BJYM in the party, said that the population of the youth in the country is more than 35% and their contribution in nation building cannot be ignored. The party has understood the importance of the youth and hence has been giving special attention on the future of the country.
Vikramaditya Singh, while briefing the meeting about the past programmes organized in different areas of the district by BJYM, said that there has been enthusiasm among the youth between age group of 18 to 35 years as they have realized that the BJP and its different organs are really committed towards the welfare and upliftment of the different sections of the society and are taking membership of the party in large numbers.
The meeting was attended by BJP district general secretary Surinder Billawaria, district Incharge Narendra Pratap, BJYM district general secretary Nirmal Singh, Mandal presidents Lokesh, Vipan, Jaswinder, Rahul and Surinder besides other members of the District Working Committee.
