JAMMU, July 9: The BJP Migrant Cell in a meeting expressed grave concern over delaying tactics adopted by State Government in implementation of the PM’s employment package for Kashmiri migrant youth.
Addressing the meeting Bharat Bhushan Gosani president of the Cell said that the PM’s employment package of 6000 jobs for KP migrant youth announced way back in 2008 by Dr Manmohan Singh was a cruel joke with the community as in last five years only 1450 displaced youth were appointed under this much talked about package.
He also expressed concern over the 16 hour power cut in Jagti camp and demanded the same be solved immediately.
Mr Gosani demanded that migrants living at Jagti be provided all basic facilities free of cost and warned the State Government against its discriminatory policies towards migrants.
He cautioned the Government against any move to dilute the provisions of the Temple Bill and demanded the Bill be passed in original form.
